This is our first post to the InboxAlarm Blog, although we’ve been hard at work building the site for the past 4 weeks.

We founded InboxAlarm because after reading so many news articles about the Twitter hack, something should have been in place to mitigate the colossal damage Hacker Croll wrought.  As it so happened, InboxAlarm was conceived shortly before a little excursion on Sarasota Bay.  Here’s a photo!

We couldn’t talk about anything else except Tripwi.re (our beta name) on the cruise.  With a trusty iPhone, the domain was actually purchased while on the water!  After, we returned to shore and went right to work.  Sketching out the schema for the db, selecting a framework, discussing BizDev about what we could offer customers.  It was all very exciting.

In short order, we cobbled together an impromptu logo for inspiration =)  Here we initially went with a darker palette to evoke the serious issue of hacking.  A simple laser with a separation in above the period was a nice visual pun.  Lastly, it seemed we needed something to tie it back to security, and so we selected a very rough slogan.

Following this initial frenzied night of coding. Each got some rest, and then we started again the next day - this time properly caffeinated and energized with Rockstar.
